Applied Solar Dispatch Validation

Check mail and attachment.

Further, the following points raised by Dianney:
  • Transaction of Assets against a Site is handled through Issue / Return / Faulty.In.
  • Loan.Out and In refer to consumables / spares required for maintenance.  These are issued to the Technician without specifying a siteHowever, in some cases, the information is required that site be specified for Loan.Out.
  • The implications of Issue_To need to be understood (by the users through training material).
    • In case of Loan.Out / Loan.In it refers to the Technician whose is responsible (even if it were sent through another person).  It is a critical field here since the accounting is against the Technician.
    • In case of Site transactions, Issue_To is not critical since the accounting is against the Site.
In any case, Issue_To is being captured for all transactions.  The implications need to be understood as to where it is critical and where it is not.

Typing Test Application

On Windows the layout appears to be different.  One option is to use Qt libraries on Windows.

Just study how a Qt exe is to be deployed on Windows and download the runtime libraries.  Once you run the exe, it may report some more libraries missing.  Install them and check.

I am uploading a Qt version of tutor.exe.

FTP Server Security

FTP Server security protocol changed to SSLTLV1.

  • The new exe will not download since the existing exe does not use this protocol.
  • Download exe manually using Browser.  Note errors if any.
  • If not, use Filezilla to download.  Use SSL with TLV1 in server settings.
  • Delete localdb and see if it is getting recreated.
  • If not
    • Check if you able to download through browser / Filezilla.
    • Download for users.
  • The new exe is configured to use this protocol.
